There are a few staple items that I have in my teacher wardrobe (which is basically my real life wardrobe, too, let’s be honest) that transition comfortably from winter to spring. I’m sharing links for where to find the same or similar items if you’re in the market. You probably have a closet of great pieces as it is that just need a little mixing up!

Pants: These high-waisted corduroy pants from Loft are my favorite work pants of life. I wear mine literally 3 times a week and have them in navy blue. I’m wearing them as we speak. They come in curvy, modern (which I think is similar to a slim fit?) regular, and petite sizes and a handful of colors. They’re also currently 50% off!

Skirts: I can NOT wait for the temperatures to crack 50 degrees in New Hampshire so I can wear skirts again. I go for longer, flowy ones so that I never have to worry about clinging or them looking too tight. I definitely gravitate towards the effortless feel of a skirt compared to a structured/fitted dress or pants.

I love the feminine skirt with the casual sweater over top.

Tops: My favorite tops to wear for work are cotton, slightly oversized ones that I can tuck in and still feel comfortable and casual while still being put together. I love floral and classic white ones like these.

Multi-use dresses: I got a spaghetti strap pleated dress like this one from H&M a million years ago. The top of it was a little too baggy but it was on clearance sooo….anyway, I usually throw a sweater or button up shirt over the top. Find a dress like this and you can dress it as up or down as you like!

Thanks so much for reading! Have a great rest of the week!
