Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

The Mother’s Day Bundle Box by Cami Monet. You can check out more details in this post!

Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10th. I’m rounding up some sweet gifts for mom, all of which are curated by small businesses.

1. A Little Words Project Bracelet

Little Words Project started in the bedroom at Adriana Carrig’s sorority house as a way for her to spread kindness and support among her girlfriends. Now based in New Jersey, LWP’s “Nice Girl Gang” motto has become a full fledged movement. They create dainty, beautiful, gem bracelets with encouraging beaded words and phrases that you can share and track with your friends or loved ones. (Or simply keep for yourself!) Beaded words and phrases come in white, silver, or gold and there are literally dozens of gem options to choose from. And if you don’t spot the exact word you’re looking for, LWP now offers customization! They just released their Mother’s Day collection this past week in honor of National Infertility Awareness Week, including this very special one for all the moms in waiting out there.

2. Something special from Antea Amoroso Designs Shop

Antea Amoroso is based out of Reading, MA. She has the most bubbly, welcoming personality and is an incredibly talented designer and calligrapher. In fact, she handled all the signage and decor at my wedding! During quarantine she started the #letteringforlove movement where she’s traveling to local businesses lettering positive affirmations and quotes on their window fronts for free.

If you’re interested in having Antea visit your shop, you can sign up here!

You and your mom could have a Zoom Mother’s Day date designing one of these cute wooden signs with Antea’s design kit!

Such a cute and fun idea to do together, even from afar.

3. A Woven Vase from The Little Market

An easy way to add a little color to any room. You can also shop by cause through The Little Market, ensuring that your purchase is supporting young mothers, survivors of domestic abuse, HIV/AIDS, reentry programs, homelessness, etc.

4. Jewelry from Wells Cooperative

This is a really, really special company with two focuses: economic opportunity for makers and supporting the health and education of children. They strive to be wells of hope and in their community and beyond, hence the name, and are continually giving back to families with children in challenging circumstances.
